Review of Baby Tent for Playpen or Crib

I have a 1.5 year old grandson. I only have one child, and she is a girl, so it is nice to have a boy to see grow up now. But I think he is definitely more of a risk taker than my daughter was. He is already climbing out of his playpen. You leave him in there and walk out of the room and he would be right behind you. The biggest problem with this is the chance of him falling. If he trips or gets stuck he may fall right on his head. But mom does need to put him in his playpen sometimes so what do you do?

I went on amazon looking for something to solve this issue and I found this tent that you place inside of the playpen and then tie on the sides and it works wonders. It zippers from the outside so the baby has no way of opening it. Yes at first it makes you feel like you have your child/grandchild in a cage, but it out weights the possibility of them getting hurt.

I really do not see any negatives with this product except you can't throw it in the washer so you have to hand wash it. Besides for that, if you are needing something to help keep your child safe while in a playpen, I would highly recommend this product. Keep your baby from climbing out of his or her playpen or crib!

 3-Drawer Plastic Storage Cart on Wheels

I was looking for an inexpensive option for storing my medicines and health stuff like my blood pressure machine, diabetic supplies etc. I found this little cart and I could not be happier with my purchase. The brand of this cart is Honey-Can-Do. It has 3 draws with enough room for all of my stuff. I actually keep it behind the couch because I wanted it close to to where I check my blood before each meal. It rolls so that is a plus and there is a little area on top where you can put books or what ever you may need.

It is well made and does not feel cheap. It did not come assembled, but it was super simple to put together. I put it together in like 10 minutes. It is a great price and I would buy another one when it need extra storage. I do like it better than the plastic draws without the wheels. 

It could be used for so many things, in the kitchen, or for kids or baby supplies. You can use it in the bathroom, office or bedroom. It is very versatile so if you decide you want to change it up, very simple to do! It in not very large so it will not take up a lot of space. I would definitely recommend this storage cart.

Relieve Stress and Anxiety with Fidget Toys

I bought this the other day for a Christmas gift for my daughter. When I saw it I thought it would be perfect for her. She has anxiety and finds these kind of gadgets really help with her stress and nervousness. I have bought her little individual fidget toys in the past, but never a whole package of them. 

When I opened it I was pleasantly surprised. I took out the gadgets and realized that I think that I would benefit from one of these packs as well. I thought about just taking some of hers out of this pack but since this is less than 20 bucks I am just going to buy myself one.

The little squishy animals are my favorite, so cute. 😊 I mean the Rubik cube, I may as well forget playing with that, I have tried a million times in my life but never got it, oh well, I guess I will keep trying.

I can't wait to give it to her, she will get a kick out of this. I may actually get a few since everyone has stress now a days. 🤣

Should you switch to an Ergonomic Mouse?

I type a lot! My wrist hurts a lot! I have wrist pads and padded mouse pads and wrist wraps, you name it I try it because no matter what my wrist is going to hurt somewhat. It is inevitable, I type all day, everyday for years. While I was at work (when we were still in an office) I walked past a co-workers desk and saw the strangest mouse I ever saw. I asked her about it and she stated it was an ergonomic mouse that she bought on Amazon. Though I was reluctant because I was not sure if I would be able to use this thing, I decided to go on to Amazon and buy one.

To my surprise I was able to quickly get used to holding my hand upright instead of flat and again surprisingly my brain was also able to get use to the change in mouse button positions very quickly. I mean in the same day quickly. I was not expecting to be able to feel so comfortable so fast. Anyway I must say that though I was able to get use to it quickly, the first couple of brands I bought I was not very fond of. They were cheaply made and not smooth in performance. 

Again, I opted for really cheap ones at first because I was not sure if I would even continue to use it. I finally did some review research and decided to try this one. It is called AUTLEY 2.4G GHz Wireless Ergonomic Mouse. I really like this one, and though it is not very expensive, it is made much better than any of the other brands I purchased. I have two computers for work that I need to use at the same time, therefore I need two separate mice, because I am not going to unplug the wireless USB a million times. So I have two of these, right next to each other! I am very happy with this ergonomic mouse and though I still get sore wrists sometimes they do make a tremendous difference.

If you are on the fence about getting an ergonomic mouse, I say go for it. These are great for the price and I would recommend starting with these.

Review of MedtFine Insulin Pen Needles 32G 4mm (5/32") 200 Pieces (2x100)

I recently was diagnosed with Diabetes. I had part of my pancreas removed a number of years ago so we believe my pancreas in not functioning at 100%. I have to test my blood 4 times a day and depending on my numbers I have to use a pen injection up to 4 times a day.

Though I have pretty good insurance, I still have to pay for my insulin and supplies. Some supplies cost more than others. The brand that my insurance covers is the BD Nano pen needles. 

I went online looking for something comparable to the BD Nano pen needles and I found these, MedtFine Insulin Pen Needles. I found these at a great price. They cost less without insurance than the BD needles cost with my insurance.

At first I was nervous about trying another brand because I did not want any extra pain or discomfort. I was pleasantly surprised. They are great. I have had no issues with them at all. They are comparable to the BD needles and I would recommend these if you do not have insurance or if you would like to save some extra money. I personally cannot feel the difference. 👍

Like I stated in my previous post for a headset that I reviewed, I am permanently working at home now and getting use to be at a home office is not always easy. I am supplied from my company with all the equipment I need, but I find that I am buying myself products that make me more comfortable and that work better for me.

My keyboard was starting to annoy me. The buttons on my keyboard were big and bulky, it kind of reminded me of the old school keyboards so I went on Amazon searching for a new Mac compatible keyboard. I did not want to spend too much money but I wanted something that was full size and sleek.

I found this keyboard and I am extremely happy with my purchase. The keys are NOT bulky and the keyboard is full size. There is a keypad which is a must for me! 

They only had it in white and at first I was hesitant because my equipment is black, but when I got it, it was a very nice white and silver, classy looking.

If you are looking for a compatible MAC keyboard, I would recommend this one at a budget price.

Color Changing LED Fish Tank Light

I recently got a fish tank and that I did not have the easiest start to say the least. I first purchased a 3.5 gallon tank and had a beta fish and two little compatible fish (neon tetras). The beta fish died fairy quickly which was very sad. I decided to give it another try and I upgraded to a larger tank (10 gallon tank). 

I filled it with water and did a treatment with water conditioner and left if for a couple of hours. I put the two little neon tetras in and a couple more fish I purchased. A couple of hours later all my fish were DEAD. I was so DEVASTATED! I killed all of my fish. 😭 I decided to try one more time and did a lot of research to see what I was was doing wrong.

I took the water to the pet store and had them test it. They said there was some chlorine in the water and that is why the fish died, they had chlorine shock. He told me to put the conditioning treatment in and let it sit for a week or so and bring back some water to be tested again. Finally I went back about a week and a half later and the water was good to go and I got a few fish. Two weeks later I added a few more. Waiting to add more fish was the advice of the pet store, they stated I should only get about 4 fish at one time. Finally it is going well.

Anyway on to the real reason for the post, the review of the LED light. The LED white light that came with the lid on the fish tank cover was so white and bright, I wanted to purchase something else, something that would change color. I first purchased these round lights that were supposedly for fish tanks, pools or any water, but they were battery powered and the batteries died so fast. Then when I went to change the batteries the batteries were rotted, so I had to return them.

I continued my search and finally found this light. I really like it. It suctions to the side of the tank and it is power operated so I do not have to worry about batteries dying. There are many color options and there is a remote and also controls on the cord. It really looks good and I am very satisfied with this light.

My opinion is not to get battery operated lights for a tank, it will not work out well. This light is very affordable and will do what you need. One light is all you need in the tank and it was less than $15.00.

Review of an LED Re-Chargeable Desk Lamp Review

 

I recently purchased this little lamp because I took up diamond painting and I needed a light that I could put really close to the canvas so I can see the letters. This lamp is awesome. I guess I did not read into it, I just figured it would work well because it was small, but to my surprise it is rechargeable and it is flexible so you can move the light in a million different directions. Nice surprise. It is super easy to carry around and has different lighting settings. You can use if for your laptop or desk or even as a nightlight to carry around in the middle of the night.

I would definitely recommend this light. It is inexpensive and if you are looking for a light weight multi-function lamp, I would say give this one a try.

PC Headset with Microphone

I recently bought this headset for work. Since the pandemic my office has gone permanently remote so I needed something that would sound great during meetings and also help me to be hands free while working. 

At first I was not using a headset at all and the quality of sound coming from my computer was horrible. I could not hear people clearly and they certainly could not hear me clearly.

These headphones were priced very affordably so I decided to give them a try. WOW I am so happy I purchased these. The sound is crystal clear, I even had people asking me what I was doing differently because the sound quality was awesome. There really was a tremendous difference.

These have been a life saver and the cushion on the ear is so comfortable. I do not have any CONS for this product.

Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Phone Case

 I recently bought this case for my Samsung Galaxy Note 10 phone. I would like to share with you the pro's and cons. 

Pros:

• I really like the way it looks it is sturdy and I feel like my phone is extremely safe in this case.
• It is very pretty, the colors are nice and the sparkles in the back make for a nice blingy feel.

Cons:

• I had a hard time putting the case on. But on the other hand, I am horrible at putting things together, so I give it to my fiance to do!!! 

I also put a pop socket on the back. Now I have an issue, because this case is not something you can just pop on and off, I had to go back to charging with a wire last night. I took the pop socket off in the morning and now I can go back to wireless charging.

I will keep it on for now. For the price it is definitely worth it. 😆
